Workshop Supervisor Textile Sorting Workshop (m/f/x) - Boortmeerbeek

Do you have a passion for textiles, sustainability, and social employment? And are you a born coach who enjoys guiding a team? Then you might be the team leader we are looking for for our textile workshop!

At ViTeS, we not only give textiles a second life, but also provide people with new opportunities. In our workshop, we process second-hand clothing and other textiles in a sustainable manner. As a team leader, you ensure that everything runs smoothly, guide employees, and monitor the quality of the work.

What are you going to do?

As a team leader in our sorting department, you play a key role at ViTeS. Thanks to your organizational skills, coaching approach, and passion for textiles, you ensure that our stores and branches are always well-stocked.

  • Organizing & Planning – Together with your colleagues, you ensure the smooth planning, administration, and organization of the sorting department (sorting and pricing).
  • Managing & guiding a team – You coach a diverse team and help employees find their place within the department, in close collaboration with the career guidance service.
  • Inventory management – You ensure a smooth flow of textiles and guarantee that our stores and branches are supplied on time.
  • Support promotions – You select goods for special store promotions.
  • Monitoring the cleaning team – You coordinate and monitor the operation of the cleaning team so that the workspaces remain neat and orderly.
  • Optimize – You identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to the Coordinator.
  • Collaboration – You participate in meetings to strengthen operations and communication.
  • Bringing safety & structure – You ensure a safe, efficient, and tidy workplace where everyone can work smoothly.
  • Administration – You closely follow up on the department's administration.

A full-time contract of indefinite duration within the social economy (PC 327.01 - cat.3) with fringe benefits:

  • A 13th month (from 3 months seniority)
  • Single and double holiday pay
  • Meal vouchers (€7.38 nominal value; personal contribution €1.09)
  • Hospitalization and outpatient medical insurance (including dental care, medication, doctor visits, glasses, etc. - from 6 months of seniority)
  • A bicycle allowance and reimbursement for commuting (public transport and private car) as provided for by the sector (PC 327.01)
  • An annual bonus in September of €638.06 gross (from 6 months seniority)
  • A workplace with room for personal growth and development through training
